The authorities confronted a terrorist group which had been attacking shops in Saladin area near al-Khidr Mosque in Aleppo with steel pipes and clubs to force shop owners to close them.
A source at the province told SANA's correspondent that the authorities clashed with the terrorists who were using a small Suzuki truck to move around, injuring a number of terrorists and confiscated their weapons, which included pump-action shotguns along with melee weapons.

The authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group in Azaz area north of Aleppo which was attacking the citizens and perpetrating murders, robbery and abductions and vandalizing public and private properties.
An official source in Aleppo province told SANA's reporter that the clash resulted in the killing and wounding of a number of terrorists and destroying 6 cars equipped with machineguns and a stolen ambulance.
The source added that among the dead terrorists were Anas Ismael Hamdoush, Ismael Farrouh Fandi, Ismael Abdulmajid, Ahmad Nafea Kinno, Hussein Na'emi, Hilal Hasan Hammadi, Ahmad Najjar and Mahmoud al-Khatib, adding that the terrorists' weapons were seized.
Authorities Clash with Terrorists in Deir Ezzor
The authorities clashed with an armed terrorist group in al-Umal and al-Sheikh Yassin neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor.
SANA's reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that the clash inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists, indicating that terrorists Omar al-To'ma and Qusai Abdul-Majd al-Ani were killed during the clash and a number of terrorists were wounded. Also, 4 cars used by the terrorists were destroyed.
The source added that the authorities arrested a number of terrorists in Jamiet al-Rasafa neighborhood and confiscated their weapons.
Authorities Foil Infiltration Attempts by Armed Terrorists Groups in al-Sarhaniya Area
In Homs, the authorities on Friday foiled infiltration attempts by armed terrorist groups coming from the Lebanese territories in al-Sarhaniya Area in al-Qseir countryside.
SANA's reporter quoted a source in Homs province as saying that the clash resulted in the killing or injury of dozens of the gunmen, adding that Corporal Thabet Mahmoud al-Khalil was martyred and three other personnel were injured.
The source added that the authorities raided a hideout used by armed terrorist groups in western Orontes area in al-Qseir countryside. The authorities clashed with the terrorists, killing and injuring a number of them.
The source pointed out that terrorists Ahmad Ghalib al-Hashish was among the dead terrorists.
Meanwhile, another armed terrorist group set fire to the agricultural lands near Fulla village in al-Houla area.
SANA's reporter quoted a source at Homs province as saying that while the citizens were trying to extinguish the fire, the armed terrorists groups shot at them, killing citizens Abdulhamid Fandi and injuring other citizens.
Infiltration Attempt of Terrorist Group Coming from Turkey Foiled
In Idleb province, the authorities prevented an armed terrorist group from infiltrating the borders and entering the Syrian territories from Turkey across Bab al-Hawa border crossing point in Harem region.
SANA's reporter quoted a source in the province as saying that the authorities clashed with the armed group's members, killing and wounding a number of them, while the rest managed to flee back into the Turkish territories.
In Kafr Nubbul town in Idleb countryside, the authorities chased an armed terrorist group that had been attacking citizens and committing acts of looting, robbery, abduction and blocking roads.
A source told SANA that a clash broke out between the authorities and the terrorists and resulted in the killing, injury and arrest of a number of terrorists, in addition to seizing their weapons.
